Matías Labbé es artista visual, Magíster de la Universidad de Chile y Licenciado en Artes de la Pontificia Universidad de Chile.

Su investigación artística se nutre de la naturaleza y sus ecosistemas produciendo obras en distintos formatos, disciplinas y materiales.

Desarrolla su producción artística en diversos ámbitos, ya sea desde la exhibición de sus obras en forma colectiva e individual en Chile y América (Buenos Aires, Lima, Nueva York), como a través de la creación y gestión de proyectos expositivos, residencias, curadurías y la escritura para proyectos de otros artistas. 

Vive y trabaja en Santiago.

His artistic research draws inspiration from nature and its ecosystems, producing works in diverse formats and materials.

He develops his artistic production in various fields, either from the exhibition of his works collectively and individually in Chile and America (Buenos Aires, Lima, New York), as well as through the creation and management of exhibition projects, residencies, curatorships and the writing for other artists projects. 

He lives and works in Santiago.
